Belgium. 250 miles in 5 days. I will be doing an Ironman world championship in 2 months….! - Daniel Weidenburch, July 31,2022 I had four herniated disks in my low back from an accident. I was told by two orthopedic surgeons that I needed a spinal fusion. On a good day my pain level was a 3/10, on a bad day I couldn't get out of bed. Then the radiating leg pain started about a year ago, and the pain became worse and more fr equent. I couldn't enjoy the normal everyday things such as walking with my wife and dogs or skiing. I even had trouble getting dressed in occasions. In April of 2023 I had the DiscSeel procedure and I couldn't be happier. It's been five months since then and now I'm back, feeling better than I have in 20 years. I'm able to work out at the gym, snow skiing again, having a normal life. I highly recommend the procedure and would definitely do it again, no doubt.

I can be an over doer working in my yard, plus I had a 29% curvature in my low back. I had extreme pain get worse trying to lift weights. I had 4 leaky discs sealed on May 5th. I just wanted to thank the folks at East Coast Discseel for the kind care before and after my Discseel procedure. I had previously been evaluated by a neurosurgeon who recommended a fusion. A subsequent opinion by an orthopedic spine surgeon also recommended a fusion. Having had my mom go through sp ine surgery in her 40s and how she is today in her 70s - did not make me too excited about having an open procedure. She has had to have multiple fusions over the last twenty years, and I did not want that to be my fate. I researched Discseel online and spoke to my pain management doctor who was not a big fan of fusions and suggested at least investigating Discseel. I had the procedure 8 months ago and I have returned to normal activity. I was walking around the day of the procedure and did not have a hospital stay. The staff, Dr. Jerry Mastaw and Dr. Bjerke and his team were amazing! I would recommend anyone who has been told they need a fusion to at least investigate Discseel and call the folks at East Coast Discseel and see if this procedure would work for them.
